Every clause in Article 1 is extremely useful and relevant to events today. Clause 8 of Article 1, Section 8 helps protect an individual’s original work form being stolen for only a certain amount of time. A lot of people are copyright and patent, movies, music, and artwork to help prevent people from stealing their work. There was an incident that I believe occurred in January of 2017 were Melania Trump was accused of stealing Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech. This particular incident caused quite a stir. It quickly became a trending topic on several social media networks.
