An Analysis Of Macbeth's Trial

If Macbeth were to be arrested and tried for murder in Virginia he would be found not guilty due to mental insanity. Due to the laws and regulations in Virginia he wouldn't be able to walk free but he would be placed in a mental hospital. Macbeth is a king, everyone knows him so it would also be hard to find a jury that wouldn't take sides. I believe that his status as a king would give him more room to be found not guilty on the charges of murder. He is an outstanding man of god and loyal to his people.

Lady Macbeth does a great job of getting Macbeth to do what she wants because of how much stronger her argument is. Lady Macbeth has a significantly stronger argument than Macbeth because of how little she cares about his emotions and does not care if what she says will hurt him. Lady Macbeth does a phenomenal job of strengthening her argument when she tells him, “I would, while it was smiling in my face,/have plucked my nipple from his boneless gums/ and dashed the brains out”(1.7.64-65). Lady Macbeth is showing how as a mother she would go as far as bashing her baby's brains out. This just shows how devoted she is to getting what she wants.…
