In total, I made 133 entries in my Daybook. In the beginning of the semester I made a mission statement that stated that I wanted to improve in opening my mind up during writing, that way I would not overthink it too much. My mission statement also included that I hoped to write every day when I had free time. The plan for the Daybook I believe was very successful; I was able to touch the page a lot throughout this semester. At first, it was hard to not overthink or doubt what to do, but as time went by I got more comfortable with it and I started to see the daybook as a place where I could brainstorm anything on. My Daybook became a place where I could write about anything from lyrics of songs to how I felt or to just a place where I could doodle random things that came to mind. The easiest entries to accomplish for me were that ones where I expressed how I felt. And as I went through my Daybook I marked two entries, one that showed my original thinking and one that showed high quality. I marked an entry as high quality because I believe it showed improvement in my writing from the very beginning of the semester. The entry labeled high quality, I feel is good quality in that I was able to explain how I felt about an idea in a better way than I would have been able to before. I feel that I was also able to maintain a certain idea going instead of jumping between ideas like I did before. In the entry, the idea was of why I felt accomplished at the end of the semester and I feel that I said relatable things went back to the idea of the entry. Overall, I feel that my Daybook helped me gained confidence in my writing by writing what came to mind every
