Decent Essays
Chris Brown is caught up yet again in some drama. Although Las Vegas police confirmed the investigation, the singer denies that he punched a woman in the eye. Brown claims that the accuser is just looking for a payday in his expense.

Although Brown doesn't really have a good record with women before as he infamously assaulted his then-girlfriend, Rihanna back in 2009, but he firmly denies the recent allegations.

In an all-new video, the 26-year-old R&B singer told his side of the story: “Obviously somebody’s looking to get a check or start some sh*t,” Brown says in the video, which has since been deleted. “I don’t know this old looking b***h. This b***h is old, like dusty."

The woman that Brown was talking about was his accuser, Liziane

Case Study of a DJ: James Brown By Alvin Wilson Funky Drummer: There is a section where James Brown, the drummer and the sax come together in a beautiful and interesting manner. This portion of the song is from 3:38-3:56. It has that infectious riff. This portion when looped to create a chorus would surely get the crowd going incessantly. The controversy over Pick-up Artists has rapidly increased. In fact, many people might not know exactly what a Pick-up Artist, commonly referred to simply as a PUA, is or believes. The most basic description is a man who learns how to be alluring and seduce women. While the basis of this concept doesn’t seem to be harmful, more so a way to help single men, the way it is thought out and executed is rather forceful and adds to the boundless rape culture found in today’s society.…

Donald Trump was an unexpected runner for this year’s presidential election. At first, many people thought his running for the presidency was a joke. Unfortunately, as time went on, what many thought to be a joke suddenly became more serious as more and more people began to show him support and he shows no sign of dropping out anytime soon. Which is unfortunate since much of what he says is far from being presidential, let alone professional. From what I’ve seen of his speeches and debates, he often makes terrible statements about other candidates as well as other groups of people, building off of peoples hate to rally more support.…

Although this technique is not used in a lot of genres and appears mostly in hip-hop music, forms of music sampling have been around since the late 1900’s. Kendrick Lamar uses a sample in his song “Alright” to help illuminate what life is like as an African American and the struggles that they face due to their skin color.…
