Survival Essay
Introduction
In this essay I will be telling you how to survive in the wild, what mistakes you can not make and examples. First I will be telling you about shelter, after that food, fire, mistakes and then examples. Hopefully this helps you if you're ever stranded or lost.
Shelter
Shelter is a big part when it comes to survival. If you don’t have a good, stabilized shelter that could cost you your life. One key thing you want to know when making a shelter is responsibility. Let's say you're stranded with three other people, you need to set a plan of what things people are going to get then you have a responsibility of getting those things. Another thing is that you make sure you cover the fort so water doesn't get in. What you probably want for this is bark. The bigger the bark the better. The reason you want bigger bark is so it will cover more of the fort. Remember sticks don't always work, because some of them are so small that they don't cover much so try not to get too many sticks. Thats one mistake we made was we didnt have enough bark to cover some of the holes up.

You want as much food as you can get but make sure it’s not poisonous if it is that could be a brutal mistake in survival. The reason I say that is because you could get sick and could not be able to do anything for a couple days. You want to make sure that you first work on your shelter then find food, not the other way around. You can make your own contraptions to catch bunny, deer, and other animals you could eat. If you can find a coconut, take a sharp rock or knife and saw the husk, once you're done with that then crack the nut open. Inside is coconut milk that you can drink if ever thirsty. You can make a net, snare trap or bow and arrow to catch some fish. It might be very hard but if you keep trying you will get the hang of

Whaling has been a controversial activity for some years now. Whales in today’s society have been regarded as “gentle giants” and highly intelligent animals, which is true. Some nations however, such as the Norwegian and Japanese have whaling deeply rooted in their culture and history. For many centuries, their ancestors took part in whaling as a means to sustain their life, livelihood and culture. I agree with the Norwegian and Japanese position on permitting the hunting of non-endangered species of whales as a cultural exemption, given that the hunting of the whales is regulated to prevent over-hunting so that the whale population can replenish.…
