I am a teacher at the District of Columbia International Public Charter School and first met Ms. Baskurt as a student in the Model UN elective offered last school year. She has been my student for over a year, and I have been her Model UN and Debate Coach for close to a year now and inn this time Ms. Baskurt has demonstrated academic aptitude and ambition above and beyond other students in her graduating class. At a personal level Amy is a caring, respectful, reflective, and disciplined young lady full of grace in all her endeavors. Ms. Baskurt obtained the maximum grade possible in all of her assignments,

It is a great pleasure to recommend Rachel Sitasz for admission to the Edward Hospital Student Volunteer Program. She is one of the most empathetic, kind, and exceptional humans I have encountered in my 14 years of teaching. I teach Rachel in my 8th grade advanced ELA class. Her academics, character, innate curiosity, intrinsic motivation, ethical standards, and unwavering desire to give back, have put Rachel in a class of her own. In fact, for the first time in over 25+ years, the eighth-grade team created a brand new end-of-the-year award for our graduation awards assembly.…

It has come to my knowledge that there is a limited amount of spots in the ENG 102 class for next semester. I am one of the best candidates to continue into ENG 102 and thrive in Ms. Laduca’s learning environment. Although I do not fear that I have not already earned my spot, I will proceed to justify my case. I have been an adroit student of Ms. LaDuca’s for the last year and a half; she knows exactly what kind of student I am. Since seventh grade, I have been an ebullient honors student in the top ten percent of the 2016 cohort and have not received any grades lower than an A. I always exceed expectations, put in 110% of my effort, and achieve and maintain excellent grades at the same time.…
