The Amur leopard is a mammal whose scientific name is Panthera Pardus Orientalis. This animal is critically endangered because of poachers hunting for its fur, frequent fires, development projects, negative impacts of inbreeding, and lack of political commitment to conservation. This is causing a habitat loss to Amur Leopards.
How does the animal meet its basic needs in its natural habitat? Their main prey is roe, sika deer, hares, and badgers. They usually hunt at night using the silent stalk and ambush technique. My habitat will ban using matches because frequent fires occur which destroys the animal’s habitat. Also, my habitat will ban hunting. Hunting lowers the population of this species. Plus, my habitat will have political commitment because lack of political commitment is one reason of habitat loss which makes the animal endangered. My habitat will have will have enough food and water for the animal to live.
What are some long-term solutions I have created that might save this animal in the wild? My long-term solutions that I have created are that I will stop poaching of animals and I will control the fire in the habitat. These are very big problems that cause the Amur leopard to lose its habitat. I think that with these solutions, the Amur leopard might be saved.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I think the Amur leopard is a cool animal and it needs to be saved. We can’t lose another awesome
