Amicalola Falls gave me a warm touch. The fresh scent of the air and the marvelous-looking organisms gave me a warm touch. The sound of the chirping birds gave me a warm touch. The present of the quiet atmosphere gave me a warm touch. I adore every single thing of mother nature, that gave me a warm touch. One day in September a friend and I decided to explore a path by my house I’d never walked on before. The trail was about 200 yards south of my house. As we walked towards the entrance of the trail we discussed what our lives were like before high school, recounting the memories that defined who we were. All year the mountains are amazing; I never get bored because every season brings new activities that I love including hiking, biking, rafting, snowshoeing, skiing, horseback riding, rock climbing, and camping. Mountain sports and the raw beauty of the mountains fuel my love for the beautiful place I’ve grown up in. Being with my family or my closest friends in the mountains doing almost any activity out doors would easily describe the most perfect day that I wouldn't trade for anything else. The mountains always manage to keep my attention; in the winter they are white and sparkling, the spring they are green with flowers everywhere, the summer they are leafy and so pleasant, and then when fall arrives and there is every color you can imagine it is so vibrant and mind blowing. No matter the season, regardless of who I’m with, being in the mountains is always the place I love most and will never take for granted…

The group of friends standing right in front of us jumped and sang every word of the songs being sung. We were only 30 seconds into the first song he sang, there was no one in the crowd in sight just standing there. Days before, I remember counting down for the day to approach. Waiting for that day filled with country music, sunshine, cowboy boots, and hats. It was the stereotypical perfect day, i've been waited for this the entire summer, ever since we heard of it on Wild Country 99.…

A city with an area measuring 3,255 miles squared and lying on the Gastineau Channel, Juneau, Alaska captured my breath and left me speechless. For some Juneau is a venue to buy trinkets and take family pictures for the Christmas card. For others Juneau is a place to hunt vicious black bears or reel in an Artic Char. For me Juneau, Alaska is significant for it allowed me to strengthen in my faith and believe God created the Earth we live on. Foremost, the sky was foggy, and the air was chilly, with a brisk wind blowing around.…

Kayaking in Lake Tahoe With just me and my thoughts, I launched my heavy orange kayak from Sand Harbors’ fine powder like sand beach and hopped in. The freezing cold waters were a bright blue jewel.…

The orchestra was centered on the stage with warm lights on. The conductor’s stand was centered in the middle with violins and cellos surrounding him. The atmosphere was tense as opposed to relaxing because everyone seems to be listening very intensively to catch all the tunes and notes.
