Amicalola Falls: A Short Story

On our way to the top of Amicalola Falls I was looking at all the gorgeous flowers like roses, cherry blossoms, and some very interesting perennials. Then I felt a slight pinching sensation on my arm. Then another. Then another. Then another! I didn't know what was attracting them. I kept rubbing and itching and rubbing and itching but nothing worked! We don't have bugs like this in the city! What keeps attracting them?
I tried slapping them but that just made them angry so they kept coming back! I was looking for obvious signs for mosquitoes but I couldn’t find anything! When we reached the top of the falls I asked Tamara if she knew and she asked, “ Do you have any perfume on?” and I replied “No, but I have fragrant lotion on.” She replied,
