Amesha's Influence On American Culture

On the evening of November 13th, 2001, Amesha Lankeshi Diyunuge was delivered by a stork on the doorsteps of Nayana and Sarantha Diyunuge. Amesha is of Sri Lankan descent, however, her parents moved to Bermuda and resided there up until she was nine years old. On the night of July 28th, Sarantha got a call that would change the entire course of Amesha’s life. He got a job offer that required him to relocate to the United States of America. Amesha being the dauntless person she is thought, “Huh, I wonder what new adventures are in store for me.” A few weeks later Amesha, her parents and her brother Akasha found themselves traveling all the way from Bermuda to the United States of America, their new home.
