In my opinion, the 2 party system has worked for America for a long time. Many other countries that allow multi-party systems become too diluted in their leadership and sometimes forming a strong government becomes arduous when several parties have won electoral seats and do not agree with each other on various political issues or the policies for the betterment of the country/people. With the 2 party system, we have clear ideologies of each party and within these ideologies, our country has had relative success in forming a government that can accomplish the goals that benefit the majority. I feel that there have to be some clear guidelines and expectations set for meeting deadlines in the House and Senate to approve bills and move forward
