Many countries are copying American cultural and style also try to be one of them and people are almost accepted this idea. According to Vicente Verdu’s article “We Are All Americans” he focuses on how American culture affects in positive and negative sides in many aspects, such as, in food, entertainment, fashion, value and languages have spread and expand around the world. In my home country, Kuwait, our government encourages high school students to do their best to achieve high grades to get a scholarship and study in the United States more than other countries. Which means that American’s universities have a great reputation that attract students to study there. For Example, I studied a year in Kuwait university and I can see a many differences in many ways, Such as the way of teaching, improve our English and other skills. To illustrate, classes in Kuwait we do not talk in English and some professors do not have a good pronunciation because they are from the Middle East or Arabian country. “American education is more focused on practical experience. Readings and papers are essential elements in the American education system”(Shaopeng He ). I agree with the writer because American universities have a professional ways of teaching and my family was an inspiration to me to study there. Additionally, a lot of people think that whoever has a degree from American university would have a better job and they will respect her/him more because their great experiences. In fact, once I asked my Saudi friend about their universities and I noticed it is similar, she told me that is offering American teachers to teach in our schools and universities. I agree with Verdo when he explains that “ This article we will be one of last texts written to separate what is American from what is not”(p.25). It is a prove that everything in our lives is going to change and the world will be Americanized. Apparently, One of the most popular company is apple and it is an American company and large number of people are using Macbook and iPhone or any Apple products. For instance, people in many countries in the world would wait for months to buy the most recent device like iPhone 7 or new laptops. Since I had started to study in Philadelphia I noticed that in every September people are waiting in a long lines to buy a new iPhones and when I asked my Indian friend and he told me that some individuals believe that American products is the best and has a perfect quality. Furthermore, some other countries products concentrate on how to copy American’s products and they are trying to compete each other with it.
