When it comes to American Values, Robin Williams identified all of these values with great reasons. One of those values would be science, as it is the educational systematic study of both the behaviour and structure of the natural and physical world through experiments and observations. Science throughout the years has had a great positive impact on both America and other civilizations across the world. It led us to where we are now and it brought new information’s to us such as having the first man to ever walk on the moon to new medical researches to fight off deadly diseases. In most third world countries they do not have as much freedom as we do in America, and they are limited to a lot of things such as work, education system, and dressing in some manner. In America we able to do all these things without punishment or restriction, but to an extent. The reason why is because we are allowed to dress in short dresses or wear hats but we are not allowed to walk out naked in public. Unless you’re on a private beach somewhere out in California. This is in a way harmful to our own country because with too much freedom comes abuse. Many people in this country do abuse our freedom by doing harmful crimes to others because they feel they have that right. Well, one could say that is true until they go to jail. But other than that, freedom is a privilege this country is given and just like science and our education system; freedom also makes others from different countries such as third world countries to want to join us, and other countries hate us as well because we have too much freedom and they feel that we are allowed to do whatever we want to. It makes us as America one instead of half of one. This is great for our society because it allows both men and women to work together instead of just the men. It also allows both African Americans and Caucasians and Hispanics to study and work together in peace. Finally, it allows us the opportunity to date of different races without it being a crime in our society. We came a long way so far with both race and gender but it is needless to say that sadly we still have people in this country who are racist and sexist. However, we can always try to do things to fix it but the fact is no matter how hard we try, this will probably continue to happen till the end of time.
