More than half of the American population have experience some kind of trauma. There is many different types of trauma: war trauma, rape, molestation, child abuse, being mugged or hit, witnessing someone being hurt, et cetera. In addition, a traumatic event can happen to anyone, at any time, anywhere, just like the effect of it. During a traumatic event, the brain gets shifted, after the event, trauma effects them differently, and when the patient seeks treatment, they treat it in different ways. While the a person is being mugged, raped, abused, their brains go into a fight or flight stage. Some times, people are strong enough to choose to fight or flight, and then be able to scape.
