There are 125 ranked players on the PGA Tour or Professional Golf Association. The PGA Tour began in 1929, and it is still going today. One great player on the PGA Tour is Jordan Spieth. He, also has won many tournaments and is well known in the PGA Tour. Jordan Spieth had an interesting childhood, college career, and has accomplished many achievements playing golf on the PGA Tour. Jordan Spieth was born July 27, 1993. He was born in Dallas, Texas. Spieth is the son of Shawn and Chris. Both of his parents were college athletes, his father Shawn played baseball at Lehigh University and his mother Chris played basketball at Moravian University. Spieth was the youngest winner on the PGA Tour in 82 years. He became the sixth golfer to win the Masters and the U.S. Open in the same year, and the first male since Gene Sarazen in 1922 to claim multiple majors. Last year he won PGA Rookie of the Year. His 2013 World Ranking was 7th. In 2014 he was ranked 15th. Also, in 2015 he was ranked in the world he was ranked 1st. Spieth is the 2015 Player of The Year. Jordan is the youngest American to make world top 10. Spieth is also the youngest player to qualify for the Presidents Cup. He is the youngest player since 1929 to play on the U.S. Ryder Cup Team. Also, Jordan Spieth has the all time best combined major score in a calendar year. Jordan Spieth has won at 2013 John Deere Classic, 2014 Emirates Australian Open, 2014 Hero World Challenge, 2015 Valspar Championship, 2015 Masters Tournament, 2015 U.S. Open Championship, 2015 John Deere Classic, 2015 Tour Championship by Coca- Cola, and the Fedex Cup for 2015. Lastly, Jordan Spieth founded the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.
