“The American Sniper” is possibly the best action movie out there. This movie was directed my Clint Eastwood and is based on Chris Kyle’s autobiography published in 2012. “The American Sniper” did a great job of hitting all the core aspects of a thrilling war movie such as keeping the viewer engaged throughout the movie, establishing a bond with the main character, and creating a realistic experience of a soldier’s life.
The film openly shared both struggles and victories. Bonded Brotherhoods were built on trust and loyalty. The American Sniper is a movie based on the life of Chris Kyle. Kyle is known as the deadliest marksman in all U.S. history with 160 confirmed kills. Kyle is a patriotic man that decided he wanted to make a difference by enlisting in the Navy pledging to defend and protect his country. Kyle was determined and passionate about making his career as a sniper but he never anticipated the grip it would have on he and his families’ lives. After four tours and ten years of war experience, Chris decided that he would step away from the battlefield but continue to be of service to many soldiers that suffered from the incurable PTSD. …show more content…
There were no short cuts made in the cost aspect. The screenplay was well written and for the most part seemed to coincide with Kyle’s auto biography written in 2012. “The American Sniper” is filled with intense actions scenes involving explosions, gun fights, vehicle warfare. Clint Eastwood hit the nail on the head by choosing Bradley Cooper to represent Chris Kyle. Cooper’s performance was outstanding as he lived out the intense skill, determination, and accuracy that is required of a sniper.
