American Robins Research Paper

Decent Essays
Robins are a beautiful bird and you can see them in the springtime. I wanted to write this because I have a robin’s nest in my backyard. I also like how gentle robins look.
The American Robin’s size is about 9 to 11 inches long, a wingspan of about 14 to about 16 in long, and weight is 2 ⅓ to 3 ounces. The Robins communicate by usually singing to each other and other forms of communication. The bird can fly very fast at 20 to 36 miles per hour. They fly faster when they are migrating then flying in our backyards.

American Robins lives in the southern part of the United States and most of Mexico in the winter time. The year round range of the American Robin is most of the United States. Lastly the breeding grounds are most of Canada
