The American Revolution was not the result of just one event, yet it was caused by various events throughout history. Although, one of the first main events leading up to the American Revolution was in the mid-18th century when there was a major disagreement between the colonies of America and Britain. They were disagreeing over the way that Britain treated the Americans because the Americans felt that they should have been granted the exact same rights that the Englishmen were given.
