The American Red Cross and American Cancer Society both have a similar mission, to help people in a crisis, whether it be medical in one organizations case or in emergencies in the other. Starting off American Red Cross spends 90.1% of the expenses of what they exist for and are supposed to do. On the contrary, the American Cancer Society only spends 59.9% of their expenses on what they say they will. It is interesting to think that less than three fourths of the proceeds go towards what they promote. Moving onto the administrative expenses, this percent shares what percent of the budget spends on administrative staff, costs associated, and the meetings held.
