Red Cross is a non-profit organization that helps people around the world. The organization is found in 187 countries. The American Red Cross “prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.” (Mission and Principle) Red Cross is about helping the community by using greater human resources, with people who are dedicated toward helping others within his or her own power. A series of connections are made between the organization and helpers, as well as among helpers as well.
