With the developments of network technology and globalization as well as the growing diversity of culture (Brawley, 2008, p.11), the influences of American products and habits are increasing day by day. In China, the popular culture of the United States is popular with many Chinese people, especially the younger generation (Ryan, Chen & Saich, 2014, p.101). Although there are also many worthy scientific technologies of American products and habit, many criticisms exist. During the introduction of American products and habits (Bacevich, 2012, p.38), the Chinese unavoidably received some traditions and culture of America, which will have negative effects on Chinese culture to some extent. Since the policy of reformation and openness have come into action in China, American culture of clothes has spread quickly among Chinese lives. Particularly, The American cowboy suits have great influences on the Chinese students’ conception of clothes. Chinese students are attracted by jeans and cowboy hat. They think their slim or strong figures are shown with the help of all kinds of jeans. In the eyes of Chinese students, the cowboy hat is a kind of symbol of fashion, indicating young, energetic, and optimistic features. They prefer to wearing cowboy suits to school as well as going after all sorts of peculiar styles of clothes, which is opposite to the Chinese traditional school uniform. In general, the managers of school require Chinese students to wear same school uniform during school days. However, the rule of school uniform is broken by the popularity of cowboy suits among students. Therefore, the appearance of American cowboy suits is unfavorable to the rule of school
