I. Introduction
a. Attention Getter: Take a moment and pull yourself from what’s going on today in the world. Then think about what has happen in the past such as the earthquake that occurred in Haiti that killed a large amount of people. (Pause) Now bring yourself back to what’s going on today and ask yourself whatever happen to this group of people or this country and why haven’t we heard in update on what’s going on and how they are doing?
b. Link to Topic and Motivation: Well there are a few of us who still reflect on major catastrophic event that have occurred in the pass.
i. Common Ground: If not everyone would have had to been effect by something major in their life such as a natural disaster, crisis, etc. ii. Significance: We may all take

He’s actor, screenwriter, producer, and activist. iv. Transition: Most importantly I’m going to speech about what Clooney has done that caught my eye.
b. Point #2: What has Clooney done throughout the years.
i. He recently contributed about $1,000 to a Café that helps homeless in Edinburgh. ii. Clooney also held a telethon after the horrible earthquake that occurred in Haiti raising about 50 million dollars. This telethon also supported those that were effected by hurricane Katrina. iii. Brought the major corruption occurring in Darfur, Sudan back to attention. Darfur is where a genocide occurred and massive rapes had occurred and the government was trying to cover it up along with the genocide itself. iv. Transition: I would agree that he’s done a lot of giving back during his time.
c. Point #3: Why does Mr. Clooney inspire me?
i. The most important thing that inspires me is how he’s not afraid to fight for what others should have. In most cases he’s fighting for human rights. ii. With all the money he makes I am happy that he decides to share it with those who are in need of assistance. He provides the homeless, those effected by a disaster, and even those who’s effect the having their human right
