American Heroes

Every child has a hero even adult have heroes. My hero is Captain America, but others put their faith in just normal people. Well, these “heroes” are far from normal, they just do not have super powers. These worshiped people are usually the outcome of a crazy transformation, doing too much of something they were not supposed to, and/or being famous already and being “normal”. I do not care for these “hero” figures. These people were taken from their family and friends to watch too many of their fellow team members die and be injured and they themselves also be injured and/or killed. These are the kind of people who deserve to be called heroes. Superheroes have been around forever. Children have idolized them, pretended to be them, and adored them since …show more content…
deserve to be recognized. It is crazy to me that people are being praised for things like going against the law to get their way or to prove a point, making sin so accepted just to avoid hurting people’s feelings, and making it where people who didn’t work hard or as hard as people who do work hard get the same rewards because it’s “fair”. I don’t even want to watch the news or read a magazine anymore due to the things going on with these so-called “heroes”. Everyone has their own opinion and they are entitled to it, but that does not mean I have to agree with the reason these people are being

The majority of people have their own definition of a hero, my definition is, a hero is someone that fights for what they believe in, no matter the consequences. Like Beowulf for example, stood up for the people of Heorot when Grendel started to attack, and he also went after the dragon to protect his people. Another hero to me would be Boo Radley. Both Boo, and Beowulf fought for what they thought was right, and also changed how people thought of them.…

In the end, we’re bound to fall, what is important is that we get back up. Peters is often asked why we need heroes, which is a question I myself ponder too.…

Hollywood Superheroes When we were kids we understood one thing about a superhero that he’s the good guy. He makes the bad guys go away and he’s our saviour. When a child thinks about a superhero, the first picture that comes to his mind is Superman or Batman or maybe Spiderman. His fantasies include him being saved by the superhero or maybe he becoming the superhero himself and saving the world. His faith in the superhero is pure and it is derived from the feeling that whatever bad there is, it’ll go away and the world will be a better place, free from the evil.…

Some people do not know that they are even someone’s hero. When a person has the power to stand strong and fight for what they believe in they too can be a hero. These are the type of people that give others hope and save lives each and every day. You do not have to have super powers to save someone, you do not have to be in a position or a career where the main goal is to save someone’s life such as a doctor, a policeman or a firefighter. Heroes can be everyday people, such as a teacher; who teaches kids the everyday essentials of life to grow and be a better person, a parent; who guides and raise their children and protect their children, and even a janitor or trash man; people that help keep the environment clean for our safety and…
