To avoid public speaking, holden settled for a desk job at the essex county police department. Roberts decided attempt to complete law school. He struggled to find a school that accepted only three years of college experience, but found that many did. ”By day, Roberts was fighting organized crime, and by night, he was battling law school courses(Waldron,NP)”. Although Roberts was accepted to law school with three years, the rules changed so he wasn't able to take the BAR exam. Luckily, Roberts knew people in high places and was able to take the exam with a catch. The catch being that he couldn't see his results until he completed his fourth year.
