American Football Persuasive Essay

Currently, only one sport dominates the entire globe, from Latin America, to Europe, to Asia and Africa, and North America. This sport is known here in America as soccer, and it’s been the world’s leading sport for a very long time now. If anyone asks me, I would say it’s really not that fun to watch the world compete via the same sport. Soccer is praised internationally, however, other sports, such as baseball, basketball, and American football, are not given as much attention worldwide. And there are some nations who have never heard of those sports, those who were never exposed to athletics. Since American football is a popular sport only to the United States, we usually end up as the champions every cup. I see that as unfair, I believe that before nations begin to organize sports, they should train their athletes, so that they can at least survive a snowball’s chance in Hades when they go onto the gridiron. In developing countries, however, people don’t have access to training staff or proper equipment, which puts us back into the dilemma of athletic inequity among both sports and nations. If we can overcome this problem, I believe that the world would be a very different place. I think that there would be much less conflict and violence, because matters of small sorts can be resolved by a game of baseball or tennis rather than fists, knives, or guns. The malnourishment and obesity of children will decline rapidly, since athleticism and a healthy diet balances metabolism.
