American Education Needs

The educational needs of the poor in American society is a very important need. This is very important because if you are poor and uneducated it is likely so will your offspring because school cost money these days whether it is tuition or uniforms. A Lot of politicians and people of power have claimed to try and help solve the problem of education for the less fortunate but did little to nothing to help it. If I was a politician or a person of power that could actually make a difference I feel I could make one. Personally I did not come from a wealthy background at all. The one thing my parents stressed and took very important was education. They took education so important because they didn't have any college education meaning they couldn't afford to give me the things I wanted when I wanted. Now don't get me wrong they got me clothes and the occasional toy every now and then but they know if they would've had better education they could treat me how they wanted to. Or if I was in high school I wouldn't have the grades or mentality I have now. I would have turned out like most of the low income families children do. Working a full time job and not have enough time for education. The poor need education to progress in life but that can't happen if they have to worry about taking care of their family. If I was in power I would try and come up with a program that pays less fortunate kids to go to school and get good grades. The student would have to show that they need money for home but not only show that they need it, they would have to keep their grades up. This program would hopefully eliminate the need for students to get part time or full time jobs while in school and would give the students a chance to be a student and not have to worry about providing for their
