The education industry in America is a place where many professionals have the potential to be influential to future generations, whether it be good or bad. In keeping this industry from being a bad example the Association of American Education has written a code of ethics that covers four topics intended for educators, that being anyone who instructs someone else within a learning environment. The layout of this code of ethics is broken down into five sections being Overview, Principle I: Ethical Conduct towards Students, Principle II: Ethical Conduct toward Practices and Performance, Principle III: Ethical Conduct toward Professional Colleagues, and Principle IV: Ethical Conduct toward Parents and Community.
