In the quarterly report Jay Schottenstein, Interim CEO of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. commented, “I’m pleased to report another strong quarter, and to see positive momentum continue...”1 While in the quarterly report of Aeropostale, Inc. Julian R. Geiger, Chief Executive Officer, commented, "The second quarter was an important transitional time for us in which we set the stage for the second half of the year.”2 The two companies have different spins on the progress of their companies. AEO is a very stable company from the last years Stock Market Prices but ARO stock value has decreased continuously for the last eight months. If you were to invest in one of these companies the safer investment would be American Eagle Outfitters, Inc.
