American Eagle has a mission statement which is extremely in depth, speaking about a supply chain, environment, community, fairness and equality, as well as health and wellness with a big emphasis on social responsibility. American Eagle states:

American Eagle works with factories around the world in 17 countries, and has a code of conduct pertaining to labor laws and does not work with factories who don’t meet those

(ae.com) According to Bloomberg Business, “Year over year, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. has seen net income shrink from $83.0M USD to $80.3M USD despite relatively flat revenues. A key factor has been an increase in the percentage of sales devoted to SGA costs from 31.94% to 33.29% (Bloomberg.com).” American Eagle stock exchange sales starting around September 2014 were steady going up or down less than one dollar, and then in November the stock decreased by over a dollar, then stayed study until December and made a significant drop come January 2015. Since January 2015 to April 2015 the stock had an increase from fourteen dollars, to nineteen dollars per stock, and is now beginning to decrease by about three dollars. As of today the price per stock is 16.24. The stock did remain higher rather than lower throughout September and did not have a big drop in price if it did fall.
