Is the American Dream still Possible? What is the American dream? The American dream is something that is individualized and characterized by each and every person. But the American dream is based on the hope of equal opportunity for those who can strive to the peak. If you are able to stay determined and focused on what you have in front of you then yes the American dream is still achievable. Some opportunities are by requiring all children to go to school and giving workers HR (which will be explained later on), and also the opportunity to seek higher education and etc. The "No Child Left Behind (NCLB) law" was signed in 2002 which would change Americas schooling ways. This law had an impact on everything the students had been taught, the way they take tests, the training for teachers, and also how the money on education was spent. What this does is give your child an opportunity to succeed. What this also does is:
"Your child may be eligible to move to a better school or could receive free tutoring"
"Your school could qualify for grants to use words top-notch teachers or other school programs."
This gives the child opportunities to have that free education but with added benefits that could help them succeed if they choose to use it in the right way. …show more content…
The main reason why is money. Money is the main reason why the middle class keeps shrinking and the people in the upper class just keep getting richer by the day. There is a reason why the middle class is called the working class and it is because they make up the majority of the population. But with the major economic imbalance, the working class has been shrinking. Due to the imbalance of money, this has caused people to believe that the dream can't be reached. Money is the only thing right now that can get you where you want to be and without it, you won't be able to achieve
