American Dreams Achieved: Home and Abroad The United States developed as a society from its rooted expansionist ideals that developed out of necessity from the closing of the frontier. Its success economically, culturally and globally was the result of consistent spreading of American superiority through political obligation that in their infancy, grounded American security, growth and expectation as a nation both domestically and abroad. This paper aims to support the claim that expansion became rooted as a feature of American life between 1890 and 1912, as Emily S. Rosenberg states, by the willing securitization of global trade and economic prosperity, while also being the emblematic success for international relations, integration and…

He should have dreamt of becoming the best handyman or carpenter. It is apparent that Willy found fulfillment in repairing and building things like with the ceiling, where there is hint of enthusiasm and wanted recognition for his work when he asked Charley if he saw the ceiling he put up. Charley responded by saying, “Yeah, that’s a piece of work… How do you do it?”[pg.34] ‘Piece of work’ insinuates the fact that the ceiling is so skillfully and excellently done that it can be considered a piece of work.
