How realistic can you be when it comes to living your American dream? What are the limits you can go to? What would you do for your dream? The Definition of the American dream is to do what you wanna do and not work a day in your life and be happy. Everyone has a different dream and everyone can write their own story with a new page everyday. The reality of the American dream is that is very hard to get where you wanna go, it takes a lot of faith and hard work. Most people don't ever reach there American Dream because they are not mentally tough enough and give up. You can always serve others and forgive the bad and see the god. In The Raisin mama tells the kids these same values and preaches it to them everyday and builds it into their brains. In a Drop of Kindness it says “Send a drop of kindness, And see a happy face.” If you treat others how you want to be treated then everything in life will be pretty great, serve others. In The Raisin Mama says “There is always something left to love” meaning there is always love in your heart and you can treat others right because you wouldn’t want to do something to somebody if you wouldn’t done to yourself. In a Drop of Kindness it says “Send a drop of love, And feel a loving embrace. It feels so good to feel like, You are in the right place.” This is saying that if you do something out of your day to make someone else feel good then you are in the right place and you are serving, it feels good to make someone else smile. In The Raisin Lorraine says “How we gets to the place where we scared to talk softness to each other.” They are scared to reach out to others and give a little love out to others and they are frustrated but like in the poem said go out of your way to make someone else feel good. They have there likes and differences but they come together nicely and that is why I picked this great
