Introduction Diabetes is a disease that affects many people in a community and if not diagnosed and managed properly, can lead to other comorbidities. There is help for those who are diabetic, from resources and educations provided from the healthcare field to all organizations in the community. Discussed here will be one organization, the American Diabetes Association (ADA). The goals, mission, funding, who is helped, how they are helped, and all services and education pertaining to the ADA will be explained. Prevention is the better choice but knowledge of how lifestyle changes have a great impact on this disease and lowering the chances of further diseases.

Included on the website are diabetic topics such as type 1, type 2, recipes, testing, insulin, blood glucose, meal plans, exercises, research, advocacy, volunteers, donations, magazines, books, and prevention of this disease.
