The consumerism is a new trend in United States. Almost everyone living in US try’s to be active consumer. Everyone want to have the trend item to show their surrounding people how cool they can be. Sometimes having the coolest item is not too bad, however, is bad how people establish that particular item. Sometimes to have that trend item people take nonsense actions. Nevertheless, they do not realize it, because people surrounding them behave the same way. People becoming nonsense consumer’s whit the help of commercials and advertisements, which manipulate and convinces the consumers to buy the particular product. The consumerism has gone too far, because people want to become part of leisure class, they want more is better vs. less is better, and people get judged by what they buy, and it becomes a part of who they are.
