Candy is devoured world wide. When Americans think of candy, the first thing that comes to mind is sweet and made with many pounds of sugar. Candy around the world is very different from America, like in Mexico , the candy focuses on sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors.
In American, the economy of candy is really high, America has holidays based on giving candy like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Halloween. American candy markets was expected to reach $35 billion in 2016, which half of it is mostly chocolate. M&M’s is the most popular candy, which are chocolate coated with a candy shell, among the most popular are skittles and Hershey’s. American candy is mostly sweet or sour.
Mexican favorites are Vero Lollipops, Pulparindo, Mazapan, and Pelon
