Why do so many people confuse success with fame or money? Much of the population confuses money and fame for success, mostly because of the consistent belief that money makes things easier. According to this train of thought, having the ability to fill lives with material possessions makes life more fulfilling. Many people who are considered successful in this way don’t know the feeling of true success. There are people who have money, but in order to obtain that money they are hardcore savers that may have been featured in the TLC show Extreme Cheapskates. Loneliness kills and when people feel isolated from others they are less happy, their health declines, and their brain functions deteriorate. Being in a stressful relationship can cause one or both parties involved to become unhappy or depressed. I firsthand have noticed the difference.
