Alondra Quintero What will affect America in 10 years? America is falling apart very quickly. We are suppose to be America the great, but that title has been long gone. I believe in the next 10 years that phone/social media usage, obesity, and pollution will get worse.
On average the standard American uses up to 13 hours on their phone per day, we slowly adapt to think that we can't live without this technology. Technology is advancing rapidly in many ways, but if we take the time to spend it with our friends and family. Typically people let their opinions, feelings and thoughts out on social media and it can turn into a problem. Facebook, Twitter, snapchat, and Instagram are all popular social media websites and applications where you can voice your opinion to the world. Studies have proved that social media is starting to be the main causes of divorce and breakups because they start to meet new people and that can let to cheating and affairs. Cutting down

This is a cycle that has been going on for years, 10 years from now more than half of American children will be diabetic. On average an American will feed a whole family 4 fast food meals out of the 7 days a week and as parents, we teach our children to do the same later on in life. We can't just blame are bad eating habits with us most the time some families can't eat healthy because a cheeseburger is a dollar while a salad is about 3 to 5 dollars. Over the years we have tried to tell people not to eat as much junk food, but we never have considered those who do not have the money to maintain a healthy family. Fruits and vegetable prices vary with the season it is because locally grown is more organic, but yet more expensive due to hard labor. School foods are not healthy as they say to be our children don't get the right nutrition at home, nor school, we are basically asking for situations like this to
