In the movie, one can clearly see how arrogant officer John Ryan is toward people. For instance, when officer John Ryan was on the phone with Shaniqua Johnson and he asked: “Yeah, what your name?” and she replies saying “Shaniqua Johnson.” He went off and said “Shaniqua.
