Issues within America America has numerous macroeconomic issues within its’ economy. One would be the fact that America’s debt is quite greater than its’ deficit. Theirs an actual clock on the internet that you can watch the debt just grow by the second. Another, would be the unemployment rate going on in America and how it’s hurting more and more people daily. The fact that in the “dreamy” country of America people are at a struggle due to lack of jobs available. Although, a bigger problem America has would be the actual value of the dollar. The value of a dollar has been increasing since 2011 would soon could result in huge inflation issues. Which could correspond with the argument about minimum wage in America. Deficit. America’s debt is growing by the second, literally . Since, it’s growing by the second I won’t list the actual amount, but the national debt is around $19,965, XXX, XXX5. While the deficit is around $1,000,000,000 . We currently hold the title for the biggest budget surpluses in the whole world. I feel that the only way to stop this huge debt from growing is to cut down on the government spending. An example of cutting government spending to help our debt would be Canada. Apparently, Canada cut their spending by 20% in a four-year span in the 1990’s and successfully reduced their budget deficit . Another, way obviously to decrease the growth would be to increase taxes within America. However, this is clearly not the way Americans want to help with the governments issues with handling their assets and liabilities. This is where America just stays in their own sinking boat of debt. Not only are they making it sink but by continuing the debt the deficit grows. Yearly the interest on debt causes the deficit to grow as well. The government might result in letting the dollar value decrease causing the debt will become less costly . America’s hugest problem is its debt and they need to focus more on the debt than on anything else in my opinion. All in all, each economic issue in America relates to the next one. If they focus on one problem (being the debt vs. deficit) and just go for it everything else will potentially fall into
