The war of 1812 can be considered America’s economic freedom from Britain as opposed to just freedom. Britain still had rein over the American ships often seizing them and impressing on the American soldiers.
This war was settled with the treaty of Ghent and settled the differences between the two countries just like the Revolutionary war ended with the Treaty of Paris and settled the differences between Britain and America.
