My fellow countrymen... I and all of you should be honored and grateful for the success on the attack against the sleeping ogre of the United States. Without the leadership of our beloved emperor and the efforts of the flowers of the Japanese soldiers, we would be under the perils of the United States' inky black tentacles right now. We were able to sink every single American Pacific carrier, no battleships were left behind. The Americans were greatly unprepared and were no match for our brave imperial forces.
We attacked the beast with a preemptive strike. We easily took Wake island, Guam, Shanghai, the Philippines, and Thailand. Our glorious emperor now rules the waves. A land where we are told everyone is equal when in reality they have never shown us Japanese friendship. They trick others with this promise to use them for their own twisted, wicked ways. They took advantage of confusion and disorder caused by conflicts to spread their tentacles towards other continents. They refused to sell us oil, iron, and rubber. Essential items we need to continue the growth of our economy. Thus, they left us no choice as they attempted to starve us into a corner.
His Majesty thought long and hard about his decision. He thought through every possibility to ensure our safety and determined that this would be the best option. After all, the emperor knows best. What the Americans do not know, is that our success has given Japan the upper hand. By having our naval fleet crush the American Pacific carriers and leaving them with nothing, God has given us this glorious victory over the evil
