America has many advantages that make it the wonderful, free country known today. Though it may have its disadvantages, it overall is a great place to live and prosper. To make it a first world country, America offers many wonderful changes including education, rights, and religion.
Education, as mentioned in the first paragraph, comes free. Children are pushed to get education up until they graduate high school. Then most will pursue their career and go to college to further their education. Everyone has a choice whether they want to get their education or not. One could claim as the country gets more rights, the more dangerous it gets. For example, more and more drugs have been getting legalized and it is putting children at risk. Though no one under 18 is allowed to purchase them, siblings are often the ones behind a child getting a stash. In reality, drugs are needed for medical use. People need to use them when they are prescribed, so the legalization works out for the best in the long run. Another disadvantage is discrimination. Though it has gotten better, discrimination is still a problem. Most small businesses don’t pay women as much as they pay a man, no matter how hard either one of them works. Colored people also don’t always get payed at much as a white individual would.
