One of the experiences I could recall of such an incident involves the kind of small business my dad runs. My father started up his own ambulate transportation coming, which provided non-emergency ambulate services to wheel chair patients of all kind, especially medicaid patients. However, before he became his own boss, he worked as an ambulate driver, for an organization that was caught and prosecuted for fraud. The issue was that the manager or the owner of the organization kept collecting medicaid payments of patients that were deceased, which was the most illegal and dishonest act one can do. News of this case spread like wildfire across the ambulate community and companies began to be more cautious with their use of Medicaid patients. New York state passed strict policies monitoring ambulate businesses and began cracking down on companies that were taking part in similar acts of fraud. In the midst of all this, my father, unemployed and longing to make an honest living, started up his own ambulate business. If such acts of deceit and fraud were taking place in my establishment, I would begin incorporating strict policies and regulations to monitor managers and supervisors. I would start by investigating all those who are involved and initiate taking firm action against those individuals, while keeping the whole issue under wraps. The reason being is that I do not want to disturb the integrity of the business by escalating this issue and involving all those who do not need to be involved. I would take care of the issue and the people involved, all the while keeping the honest employees secure. The concerns I would have is raising distrust among employees and creating a feeling of insecurity in the company, which would lead to employees dropping out. If employees realize that there is such an investigation going on, they will begin to drop like flies in concern for the fate of the company. Overall, I would ensure that the corrupted individuals in the company are removed, all the while keeping the honest
