Ambition In Macbeth

Human mostly are greedy especially those who have ambition because they always want more and more. A little push would motivate them to commit crime to satisfy their wants like Macbeth in Shakespeare’s book. Shakespeare’s Macbeth shows Macbeth has ambitions and humanity at the beginning. However, Macbeth was affected by the mystery force, which reaches his deepest mind and manipulate him to do thing. At the end, the darkness has taking over him by making him become ambition with fearless and brutal for keep committing crime. Therefore, the time of change causes him to change from humanity to inhumanity because that each successive murder he committed reduces his humanity. In the beginning of the story, Macbeth had ambition that he was loyal to his king and fearless at the battlefield. However, Macbeth met three witches that tell him he will be the king of Scotland in the future. The three witches are symbolized as the mystery force. And this mystery force started to manipulate his mind by reaching his ambition. However, he didn’t have the courage to kill Duncan. He thinks that Banquo will be the threat to his crown because the three witches’ prophecies said that Banquo’s will be the next king since Macbeth doesn’t have a root. And then he sees Banquo’s ghost seat on the chair. “Avaunt, and quit my sight! Let the earth hide thee! The bones are marrowless, thy blood is cold” (Act 3, scene 4). This shows that Macbeth sees the Banquo’s ghost because he feels guilty of murdering Banquo and he’s the only one who sees the ghost. The more crime that he committed the more sin that he’s carried. Therefore, he’s getting less humanity because he committed a second murder it’s just because he thought Banquo and his son will be threating to his crown.
