The ambassador program is an great oppurtunity for students, especially me. This is a great way for students who are dedicated to serving and representing their school community to the ones outside from Cristo Rey. The ambassador program is a great option to refeerence to in life because you learn many things that will help you thrive. From the point of professionally speaking to being able to present something accurately and well. The Ambassador Program is important to the growth at Cristo Rey in many ways. Many of the reasons students apply to Cristo Rey is because of the ambassador program. This program provides incoming students more useful information from a student's point of view. An incoming student can listen to any adult that already works at the school, however, when they hear more information from a student from around their age range they engage even more. It makes them think about if this is a potential school that they would like to go to. Without the ambassador program, many students would apply but not as many without the program. Therefore the growth of our school would change dramatically without the program. When I am representing my school it means that I am stepping up to represent Cristo Rey to the ones that do not attend to the school or has no connection with the school. It also means that I would have to become and stay an A student …show more content…
Being an ambassador will push me to increase my leadership skills because I would be stepping up to represent my school. I also can not represent my school with poor or little to no leadership skills because I would not represent Cristo Rey correctly, this will really force me to increase my leadership skills.
