Commercial fishing is another ecological danger, as the fish are one of the main types of food sources that the people who live in the Amazon eat; up to 60% of the fish that they catch is throwing away as it is not good. Bio privacy and smuggling is also another threat to the Amazon, as people take pants and animals from the rain forest and sell it, this is bad as it leads into a decline of the wild life and then affects the animals that have already been endangered by habitat destruction and pollution. Many people like hunting animals and selling them as food and as raw materials so then products can be made out of them. This is not right as it is causing the animals to become extinct from the rainforest. Every year in the Amazon 9.6 to 23.5 million of inset animals are harvested. Damming and mining must not part take in the Amazon, as it is renewing the environment and killing animals. Logging is also another threat to the rainforest; trees have been cut down and used for wood, furniture, building materials and charcoal.
