One of the primary negatives in social media is anonymous cyberbullying, and online harassment. The most infamous and sadly well-known example of online bullying is the suicide of Amanda Todd. The story of the online harassment that Amanda Todd rocked the nation, becoming one of the symbols of internet bullying. Constantly being berated by classmates, and lack of any outside help, Amanda Todd took her life to escape the torment. One of Amanda’s suicide attempts was to drink bleach, which at the time had become a distasteful joke among internet users who had heard of Amanda Todd. To this day, many social media users commit suicide due to constant harassment from people who live in anonymity. As depressing as the main negative to social media
