“You are always doing something different” said Kline, “That’s why I love what I do.” She is always excited to start her day doing something different and not having certain expectations for the day or even the week. She loves that “Artists embrace the weiredness!” she doesn’t always have to be professional, when you are creating a piece of art you put yourself into it, it is a piece of you and you are unique so why shouldn’t your art be unique as well. You have to write to galleries and online shows to submit your work. Sometimes you get rejected but Kline says “It hurts to be rejected but it does not mean your art is not good.” If you get rejected from a show it just means that it probably wasn’t their style not that it was bad. Kline also said “Get the negative feelings out and just keep making art!” When you do get accepted into a show you have to write your artist statement which needs to tell the viewers who you are as an artist and why you made your work.
