Arsenic trioxide was the dust outcome of gold extractions which happened during time period of 1948 to 2004 at the mine. According to the report 2010 it was mentioned that dust was captured as arsenic-rich gas and stored in underground Chambers.

The technology that they use was metal tube. Through the help of metal tube they took the heat created by arsenic that was melting the frost which potentially allowing water to be contaminated as the arsenic spreads into the water supply. As according to the aboriginals affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) ‘Giant Mine Remediation Project aim to freeze 237000 tonnes of arsenic trioxide dust stored in chambers under the mine in yellowknife, N.W.T in order to keep it from contaminating nearby water.” (1) As this quote shows how they are planning on freezing arsenic trioxide so it wouldn't pollute the water. The process that they are using is called frozen block process.

In my opinion I think that Economic Engine is the most useful one and benefits the Canada because it helps to develop and rise Canada’s economic as a whole country.
