Decent Essays
Growing up in the wilderness of the Imperial Legion, Amalee didn't have the best life growing up. Her mother died birthing her, an Aasamir, and her father, a human, tried to raise her on his own with what they had in the wilderness. However, Amalee didn't have the strongest immune system, and was getting sick a lot. Her father eventually had to venture to the nearest town to find a cleric to help her. Amalee's father was an animal trainer and scavenger, and used to be a marshall in the army, so he helped Amalee learn to take care of animals, as well as about common strategics.

When Amalee was twelve, however, Amalee's father went to town one day, but ended up catching a sickness that had been all over the town. It was mostly incurable, like a plague of sorts. Knowing Amalee wouldn't survive if he went back, Amalee's father managed to get a message to her and died alone. With the message was the key to the family heirloom, as well as as the key to father's small study. Using the information that Amalee gathered from her father, as well as the family heirloom, which was an enchanted shuriken, Amalee set off from the small cottage to whichever town came next. It just so happened that this town was Matun.
